She has always loved having her picture taken and make-up songs and dance in front of any guests so her mom tried to get her into acting. Mrs. Proulx sent off pictures and was soon contacted by an Acting agent in Edmonton, Alberta. She was told, that there was a part for a little girl in a TV Movie "Man in the Mirror" and they wanted to know if Brooklynn would like to audition for it.

Brooklynn Proulx had never tried acting before, but she thought it sounded like a lot of fun so she memorized the lines and auditioned. Brooklynn loves to swim, sing, dance and of course act! Her first film was playing Paris Jackson in a film about popstar Michael Jackson. She has since secured parts in many great projects, including the upcoming "The Assassination of Jesse James" with Brad Pitt and next years much anticipated film "The Time Travelers Wife" playing a young Rachel McAdams.
